Description: Beretta's first military automatic pistol was accepted by the Italian Army as the standard service pistol in 1915. This pistol was improved through a number of models, culminating in the M1934. The M1934 is a simple, robust and reliable pistol, that exhibits a high standard of manufacture and finish. It's only drawback could be said to be it's low power calibre.

The Browning P-35, or "Hi-Power" as it is usually known in the US, has been the standard military sidearm for more than fifty different nations since its introduction. The design is similar to John Browning's earlier masterpiece, the Colt model 1911, but features some simplifications to the breech locking mechanism and does not incorporate a grip safety.

Note that the HP22 as shipped does not have a square black gap as shown in two of the images, but rather a second manual safety -- specifically, a thumb operated magazine interlock safety which slides up and down. The owner of this firearm was temporarily removed during the period when these pictures was taken. This is not a recommended procedure and should only be performed during servicing of the gun by a qualified gunsmith.
