My wife enjoys shooting her Glock 23 with Hogue textured finger groove wrap-around grip. Only issue she had was difficulty triping the slide release.
So, time to call Aro-Tek. Called Wed. morning, ordered the extended slide release in Black, asked to be sent via US Mail. The woman on the phone said the part was in stock, either Black finish or Chrome.
Friday afternoon, the part shows up, along with a nice Aro-Tek catalog. Followed clear 1-page instructions with drawings, 6 minutes later, the new part installed. Take old part out, remove spring, install spring into new part, install new part.
Wow! what a difference! The extended release is about 1/2in longer horizontally, with low profile, but very effective "bump". Dropping the slide is a breeze, even with my wife's small hands - eyes closed the "bump" on the extended release is right there for your thumb ... Black finish matches up nice with rest of gun.
Price is $ 36 Black or Chrome ... its worth it!
