Please keep in mind that the people below are only volunteering to take people who have no experience with shooting. If you have shot before and already know the basics, contact your local shooting range or the NRA for information as to classes, other shooters in your area, etc. Note that each person appearing below may set their own conditions as to who they are willing to take out.

Also note that most of us aren't rich, so we will probably ask that you pay for ammunition and targets you use (usually around US$10-$20). Finally, if you decide to contact one of these people and decide that you are interested in firearms, it is VERY strongly urged that you take an NRA-approved firearms safety class. This is the only way you are assured of receiving complete, professional coverage of all firearm safety issues.

If you do not live in the United States, please read "your local shooters association" instead of NRA.

I have ear protection that you can borrow; your own eye eye protection is strongly advised. First time shooters are welcome to use my guns on a limited basis. You pay for rifle range fees ($5/day) and ammo. Skeet and trap are $4/25 birds and sporting clays are $14/50 birds. Cowboys and Rambos need not apply. I do strongly suggest NRA membership, so that you can continue to have that choice. No minors without the presence of a guardian or parent. No 'mentals' and no 'attitude problems'. This is serious stuff, it is not party time. My goal in volunteering here is to get more people to believe in and defend the 2nd Amendment.
Qualifications:	I consistently shoot at 'instructor' level on the NC state qualifying test. I have a variety of large and small guns we can use.
